Unexplained Death of Man, Galway, Wednesday 29th April 2020

Gardaí are investigating the unexplained death of a man in his early 20s that occurred at a residence at Sea Road, Galway on Wednesday 29th April 2020.

The man was found unresponsive at his residence on the morning of Wednesday 29th April 2020 and was later pronounced dead.

The body has since been removed to the Mortuary at University Hospital Galway where a post-mortem is scheduled to take place at a later date.

This death is not thought to be COVID related and Gardaí are awaiting post-mortem and toxicology results to determine the course of a their enquiries.

Investigations are ongoing.
