Gardaí are investigating a fatal single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 10:45am, this morning, 28th April 2020 on Lad Lane, Dublin 2.
The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was taken to St Vincent’s University Hospital by ambulance where he was later pronounced dead.
Forensic Collision Investigators are currently at the scene. The road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.
Gardaí in Pearse Street are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward and for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area at the time to make it available to Gardaí.
