The Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) in conjunction with Gardaí from Killarney District have arrested and charged a man, aged in his 50s, for money laundering offences contrary to Section 7 of the Criminal Justice (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act 2010.
On 21st November 2017 a major search operation was conducted by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) assisted by uniformed members of An Garda Síochána where a total of 19 residential and business premises were searched. During the course of that search, a large number of items relating to money laundering offences were seized.
The man was arrested and charged this morning and is due to appear before Tralee District Court today, Wednesday 8th April 2020 at 10.30am.
