An Garda Síochána confirms the following appointments and allocations which have taken place during April 2020.
Assistant Commissioner Anne Marie Cagney is assigned responsibility, on promotion, for the Garda Eastern Region with effect from the 14 April 2020.
Chief Superintendent Matt Nyland is assigned responsibility, on transfer, for DMR East Division with effect from 14 April 2020.
Chief Superintendent Michael McElgunn is assigned responsibility, on promotion, for the Garda Professional Standards Unit with effect from 22 April 2020.
The following Superintendents are assigned responsibility following promotion with effect from the 22 April 2020:

Superintendent Joseph O Reilly to Garda Youth Diversion Bureau
Superintendent Michael Buckley to Garda National Immigration Bureau
