Court Appearance - Money Laundering Investigations by GNECB in 2015

Following on from an intelligence led operation at Dublin Airport on 11th September, 2015 Revenue seized over €500,000 in cash from a 36 year old Irish man travelling to Brussels.

An Garda Síochána commenced an investigation led by the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau and in follow up searches and investigations the Director of Public Prosecutions has directed that a man, 36 years be charged with 4 counts of Money Laundering for sums totalling €1.1 million.

The man was arrested this morning and is  due to appear at Court Number 3, Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30a.m.
