Court Appearance - Investigation Into Alleged Corruption Involving Garda Personnel 6/9/19.

Two males have been arrested today 06 September 2019 and charged with offences under the Criminal Justice (Corruption Offences) Act 2018.  One of the males is a serving member of An Garda Síochána.
 
Both males will appear before Limerick District Court this morning.
 
The arrests and charges are in relation to investigations being undertaken by Special Crime Operations into alleged wrong-doing or corruption involving Garda personnel in the Southern Region.
