Witness Appeal - Assault at Gilabbey Street, Cork on the 27/10/19

Gardaí in Bridewell, Cork are investigating an assault that occurred on Gilabbey Street, Cork shortly after 10p.m. on Sunday night 27th October 2019. 

A man, in his 20s, received injuries to his arm which were non life threatening and was taken to the Cork University Hospital for treatment.  He has since been released.  

Gardaí are appealing for any persons who were in Gilabbey Street area between 9.45pm and 10.15pm and who may have witnessed the assault or any motorists who may have passed through Gilabbey Street around these times and have Dashcam footage to contact Bridewell Garda Station, Cork on 021-4943330, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

No arrests have been made in relation to this assault and investigations are ongoing.
