Two Arrests - Serious Assault on North Main Street, Cork on 01/10/19

Gardaí have arrested a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s in relation to a serious assault on North Main Street, Cork that occurred on Tuesday, 1st October 2019.

Searches were carried out today, 16th October 2019 by Detective Gardaí from the Serious Crime Unit in Cork city which resulted in the arrests.

The woman in her 20s was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Gurranabraher Garda Station and has since been released without charge.

The man in his 30s is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Bridewell Garda Station
