Further Update - Body Discovered in Mount Andrew, Lucan, Dublin on the 18/11/19

The body has been removed to the Office of the State Pathologist, Whitehall, Dublin, where a post mortem will be carried out by Locum State Pathologist Dr. Heidi Okkers.

Gardaí are appealing to the public for any information in relation to a Navy Toyota Corolla 05-CW-2225. This vehicle was sold on 13/11/19 and Gardaí are seeking information in relation to the movements of this vehicle from 13/11/19 to date.

Gardaí are also appealing for anyone who may have information, including any road users who travelled in the area on the night of 18/11/19 who may have dash cam footage available, to contact Gardaí in Lucan Garda Station on 01 666 7300 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Gardaí investigating the discovery of a mans body that was discovered in a car on fire, in Mount Andrew Court, Lucan on Monday evening 18th November, 2019 at approximately 8 p.m. are continuing their investigations.

The body remains at scene, at this time and the results of the post mortem will determine the course of the investigation.

Gardaí are attending the scene of a fatal incident in the Mount Andrew area, Lucan this evening Monday, 18th November 2019. Emergency services attended the scene of a car fire earlier this evening. A body was subsequently discovered in the car. The scene has been sealed off for examination. No further information is available at this time.
