Gardaí have arrested a man in 20s and seized approximately €70,000 of suspected cannabis herb following an operation in Mallow, Co. Cork this morning, 4th November 2019.
At approximately 11.30am, Gardaí from the Mallow District Drugs Unit, assisted by Gardaí from the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and Revenue’s Customs Service, carried out a planned, intelligence lead operation in Mallow town.
During the operation, €70,000 worth of suspected cannabis herb was seized and will now be sent for analysis.
A man in his 20s was arrested and is currently detained in Mallow Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
