Gardaí have seized a quantity of cannabis and arrested one man in Lucan, Co. Dublin today Friday 3rd May, 2019.
Gardaí attached to Lucan and Ronanstown Garda Station, executed a search warrant at a house in Esker Lodge, Lucan. During the course of the search Gardaí seized 1.5kg of cannabis with an estimated street value, subject to analysis, of €31,000.
A man (early 20s) was arrested at the scene and taken to Ronanstown Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He has since been released from custody and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
