Searches & Arrests in Navan, Meath on the 4/3/19.

Gardaí from the Garda National Ecomonic Crime Bureau assisted by Gardaí from Navan carried out a search of a house on Slane Road, Navan, Co. Meath this morning, Monday 4th March, 2019 and arrested two men.

Gardaí seized equipment for ATM skimming including a fake ATM front, hard drives, receiving devices, soldering equipment, laptops, about 500 blank cards to be used for storing data copied at ATMs, sat navs, pin hold cameras, skimming devices and various ATM skimming parafelenia.

The two men both Romanian nationals, (late 40s and late 20s) were arrested at the scene and are currently detained at Navan Garda Station pursuant to Section 50 of Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
