Court appearance in relation to investigation into discovery of Firearms in west Dublin on the 23/6/19
Two people are due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court, Dublin 15, Court number 4 this morning, Tuesday 25th June, 2019 at 10.30am in relation to the investigation into the discovery of firearms. Two people were arrested during this operation in West Dublin.

Gardaí from Blanchardstown and Finglas have seized two hand guns along with a number of rounds of ammunition and arrested two men during a operation in West Dublin.
The discovery was made when a car was intercepted by Gardaí in during an operation in the Clonsilla area shortly after 7pm. Two men aged 20s and 30s were arrested as part of the investigation and are currently detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act, 1939 at Blanchardstown Garda Station. Thirty rounds of 9mm ammunition were also recovered from the car. All of the items seized will be forwarded to the Garda Technical Bureau for forensic and ballistic examination.
The seizure was made as part of ongoing operations targeting organised crime in the West Dublin area.
