Arrests and Charges in the Southern Region, 8th June, 2019.

Gardaí have arrested and charged 11 people in relation to an ongoing investigation. All 11 people were arrested this morning, 8th June 2019, and detained in Garda Stations in the Southern Region.

As you aware there is a court order in place restricting reporting on this matter to prevent identifying injured parties.  The 11 people arrested and charged are due to appear before a special sitting of Newcastle West District Court today, 8th June 2019 at 2pm.
