An Garda Síochána confirms the following allocation of Chief Superintendents/ Superintendents which take effect as follows resulting from recent promotions and consequential allocations:
The following Chief Superintendents are assigned responsibility following promotion, with effect from 29 July 2019:
Chief Superintendent Johanna O’Leary to Westmeath Garda Division.
Chief Superintendent Derek Smart to Tipperary Garda Division
The following Chief Superintendents are assigned responsibility on transfer, with effect from 29 July 2019:
Chief Superintendent Patrick McMenamin to DMR North Central Division.
Chief Superintendent Peter Duff to DMR Roads Policing Division.
The following Superintendents are assigned responsibility on transfer with effect from 25 July 2019:
Superintendent Brian Sugrue to Henry Street District, Limerick.
Superintendent John Ryan to Bruff Garda District
