Fatal Crash on the M50, Dublin on the 25/2/19

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist on the M50 close to the Port Tunnel. The single vehicle crash happened shortly after 10am on 25th February close to the North bore of the tunnel.

The motorcyclist a man in his 50s was pronounced dead at the scene. The man's body has been removed from the scene and a post mortem examination will take place at Dublin City Morgue. There were no other vehicles involved in the crash,

The road at the scene of the crash has re-opened following an examination of the are a by Garda Forensic Collision investigators.
