Gardaí from Store Street have seized €140,000 worth of Heroin (pending analysis) and arrested a man following a stop and search operation conducted in the Arbour Place area of Dublin 7 that occurred on 30/12/2019 at approximately 3:10pm.
Plain clothes Gardaí on patrol in the Dublin 7 area observed four persons acting suspiciously in a vehicle. The vehicle was stopped in the Arbour Hill area. The four persons fled the scene. A bag containing a large quantity of heroin was seized. A man in his 20s was arrested and is currently detained at Store Street Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drugs Trafficking Act 1996.
