Update: Arrests re. Serious Assault, Arklow 14th December, 2019

Gardaí investigating the serious assault of a woman (30s) that occurred at a house in Arklow, Co. Wicklow in the early hours of this morning Saturday 14th December, 2019 have made an arrest.

The man (30s) was arrested this evening and is currently detained at Wicklow Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The injured woman remains in critical condition.
