Fatal road traffic collision on the N25 Castlererdmond, Midleton, Cork on the 11/8/19

Gardaí attended a single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the N25 Castleredmond Midleton Cork. The incident occurred on the 10th August 2019 at approximately 1.20am.

A man in his late teens was taken by ambulance to Cork University Hospital with serious head injuries where he later passed away on today's date. 

The road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision investigators.

The Coroner has been notified and a post-mortem examination will we arranged. A file will be prepared in accordance with the Coroners Act.
