Drug Seizure and Arrest in Tipperary on the 14/8/19

On 14/8/19 Gardaí on patrol stopped a car in the Garracummer area of Kilcommon, Co Tipperary. Cocaine (pending analysis) to the value of €70,000 and €40,000 worth of cannabis herb (pending analysis) were discovered.

A man aged in his 30s was arrested at the scene and is currently detained at Tipperary Town Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

Investigations are ongoing.
