Arrests - Human Trafficking / Money Laundering / Prostitution in Mullingar on the 14/4/19

Gardaí at Mullingar, Westmeath investigating human trafficking, money laundering and prostitution have arrested two females.

In a Garda operation this morning, Sunday April 14th 2019 two premises were searched in the Mullingar area. Two females were arrested (42 yrs & 29yrs) in connection with this investigation and are currently detained at Mullingar Garda Station under the provisions of Section 50- Criminal Justice Act 2007.

Investigations are continuing.
