Witness Appeal - Assault at Killester Dart Station on the 30/10/18

Gardaí investigating an alleged assault on a train on the 30th October 2018 are appealing for witnesses. 

Gardaí were called to an incident at Killester Dart Station at 10pm. One man in his late teens received a stab wound to the chest and was taken from the scene to Beaumount Hospital where he was treated and later released.

A man in his late teens was arrested at the scene and detained at Raheny Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984. He was subsequently released without charge and a file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Gardaí are asking passengers on the 9.40pm train from Connolly Station to Drogheda, on Tuesday 30th October 2018, to contact Raheny Garda Station on 01-6664300. We are also asking anyone who may have recorded footage on their phones or devices to contact Raheny Garda Station.
