Discovery of a body Cork 2nd July 2018

Gardaí are investigating the discovery of the body of a man in his 60s at a house in the Galway's Lane area of Douglas at approximately 8:30am on the 2nd July 2018.

The scene has been persevered for technical examination and the body remains at scene. The State Pathologist has been informed and a post mortem will determine the course of the investigation.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who was in Galway's Lane area of Douglas between 10pm on the 1st July and 8:30am on the 2nd July to contact Togher Garda Station on 021-4947120, The Garda Confidential Line on 1800-666-111 or any Garda Station.
