Gardaí at Togher Garda Station are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred this morning Saturday 15th December 2018 between 05.00 hrs and 05.45 hrs at the Kinsale Road, Cork.
A pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was fatally injured following a collision with a car on the Kinsale Road, Cork.
A man in his 60s remains in custody at Togher Garda Station.
The Kinsale Road is currently closed to facilitate a forensic collision examination and diversions are in place.
