Gardaí in Ashbourne, Co Meath are investigating a serious single vehicle road traffic collision that occurred on the Oldbridge to Donore road, 4km outside Drogheda this afternoon, Saturday the 22nd of December 2018.
The collision occurred at approximately 2pm at Sheephouse (townland).The driver and front seat passenger (both female) were taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. One of the females' injuries is described as serious.
The road is currently closed to facilitate a forensic collision examination and diversions are in place.
