Gardaí investigating the murder of Nicola Collins, 38 years, are appealing for witnesses.
Nicola’s body was discovered at a house in Pophams Road, Faranree, Cork this morning, Monday 27th March 2017 at approximately 3.20am. The body of the deceased was taken to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem was carried out by the Assistant State Pathologist.
The scene was preserved for technical examination.
An incident room has been established at Mayfield Garda Station and a Family Liaison Officer has been appointed in this case.
