A man in his 40s arrested in connection with a fatal stabbing in Harmonstown Road (Press Release 276/17) is expected to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice tomorrow morning (18/3/17) charged in connection with this investigation.
Gardaí at Raheny in Dublin are investigating a fatal stabbing which occurred at a house on Harmonstown Road, Artane, Dublin 5 at approximately 7.40pm this evening (16/3/17)
A man in his 40’s received apparent stab wounds and was removed to Beaumont Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The scene is currently preserved for a technical examination. The Garda Technical Bureau is scheduled to attend the scene later.
One man in his 40’s has been arrested in connection with this investigation and is currently detained at Clontarf Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Investigations are continuing.
