Further update - Murder of Mark Desmond

Gardaí investigating the murder of Mark Desmond in the Lucan area on the 2nd December 2016 have released four of the five persons without charge and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The three men and one woman were released yesterday evening and late last night, Thursday 15th June, 2017.

One man (late 20s) remains in Garda custody detained under Section 50 Criminal Justice Act, 2007.

Investigations are ongoing.
