Further Arrest - Murder of Mark Desmond

Gardaí investigating the murder of Mark Desmond in the Lucan area on the 2nd December 2016 have made a further arrest this morning, Friday 16th June 2017 in relation to the investigation.

A man ((late 20s) was arrested in the early hours of this morning in the city centre of Dublin and was taken to Ronanstown Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act 2007.

The other arrested man remains in custody at Lucan Garda Station.
