Fatal road traffic collision in Summerhill, Dublin on the 23/6/17

Gardaí are investigating a fatal road traffic collision at Summerhill Parade, Dublin 1, which happened at 1.40am on 23rd June 2017.

One man, believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s, died following the two car crash. The man, a passenger in a taxi, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the taxi was treated at The Mater Hospital for minor injuries. The driver of the other car was uninjured.

The road at the scene has re-opened following an examination of the crash site by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
