Renewed Appeal - Swords Murder Investigation

Gardaí at Swords Co Dublin investigating the murder of a 56 year old man in Swords on the 16th July 2017 have this evening renewed their appeal for information. Investigating Gardaí are particularly anxious to speak to two separate taxi drivers. One taxi picked up a fare at Swords Manor at approximately 00:50hrs on the morning of the 16th July , the fare included two males and two females, they were dropped on North Street Swords a short time later. One of the male passengers was carrying a large dark coloured sports bag. The second taxi picked up a male passenger on Main Street Swords approximately two hours later at 2.55am. This man was in possession of a large coloured sports bag.   Gardaí would also like to speak to three men who were walking from North Street towards Main Street at 2.50am.   Anyone with information is asked to contact the Incident Room at Swords on 01- 666 4700, the Garda Confidential Line  1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
