A 27 year old male seriously injured in a hit and run collision on the R127, Skerries to Loughshinny Road, Co Dublin in the early hours of the Tuesday, December 27th 2016 was pronounced dead on Friday last, July 14th 2017 at Beaumont Hospital.
The local Coroner has been notified and a Post Mortem examination is due to take place tomorrow morning.
Gardaí at Balbriggan Co Dublin wish to renew their appeal for information in relation to this hit and run collision.
Investigating Gardai are particularly anxious to speak to anyone who may have observed the movements of a Blue VW Transporter Van 06-C-***** which left Strand Street, Skerries sometime after 1.30am on the 27th of December 2016 and travelled on the R128 towards Loughshinny.
