Criminal Assets Bureau Operation on the 19/7/17

This morning, Wednesday July 19th 2017 the Criminal Assets Bureau carried out a number of searches in the Ballyfermot, Finglas, Ballyboughal areas of Dublin and in Courtown, Co Wexford. During the course of these searches a Horsebox was seized together with assorted items of jewellery and documents.   A freezing order was also issued under Section 17(1) of the Criminal Justice Act (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing) Act, 2010 on a substantial amount of cash in a financial institution.   Investigations are continuing.
