Fatal Road Traffic Collision on M8 Northbound (Dogstown) 05/09/16

Gardaí are at the scene of a Fatal Road Traffic Collision which occurred on the M8, Northbound between Junction 9 and 10 (Dogstown, Co Tipperary).

At approx. 12:25 on 5th September 2016, a truck collided with a car which had 3 females on board. One woman (mid 20's) was pronounced dead at the scene and the other two women (early50's and mid 50's) have been brought to University Hospital Limerick and South Tipperary General Hospital, Clonmel. The driver of the truck was uninjured.

The M8 northbound between junction 9 & 10 is restricted to one lane at the moment.
