Gardaí from the Cork City Divisional Drug Unit investigating the sale and supply of controlled substances in the Cork area, searched a house in the Knocknaheeney area of Cork City on the evening of the 19th September 2016.
During the course of the search Gardaí discovered 14 kilos of cannabis resin, 1.5 kilos of cannabis herb and a small amount of cocaine (all subject to analysis) with a street value of €115,000 an amount of cash was also seized.
A male (27 years) was arrested and is being detained at Gurranabraher Garda station under the provisions of section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996 as amended.
