Gardaí in the Bridewell are investigating a shooting incident, that occurred at Drumalea Road, Dublin 7 on the 2nd Sept 2016.
At approximately 5.25pm this evening the 2nd of September 2016 a male was approached by another male with a firearm on Drumalea Rd. The first male fled into his back garden and then into his house a number of shots were discharged at the male as he entered the house. He was uninjured and the male with the firearm fled the scene in a red car been driven by a second male.
A car on fire was recovered a short time later at Regal Park, just off Blackhorse Avenue. Both scenes are currently preserved for a forensic examination.
A male ( 32 years) was arrested and is being detained at Store St Garda station under the provisions of Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.
