Three men arrested in connection with robbery in Edenmore, Dublin on the 23/10/16

Gardaí have arrested three men, 38, 39 and 45 years, in connection with an investigation into the robbery of a convenience store located at a shopping complex in Edenmore, Coolock, Dublin that occurred yesterday evening, Sunday 23rd October 2016 at approximately 6.30pm.

Three men, masked and believed to be armed with a firearm and a baseball bat, entered the shop and demanded money from staff. They left the premises on foot with a small amount of cash and cigarettes.

Gardaí arrested two men a short time later, close to the scene. A third man was later arrested. All three men are detained under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 as amended at Coolock and Swords Garda Stations.

A firearm and a baseball bat were recovered by Gardaí and have been seized for technical examination.
