Gardaí from Ballyfermot are at the scene of a shooting incident at Cherry Orchard Court. The incident occurred at approximately 2020hrs. A male aged in his 30s injured in the incident has been taken by ambulance to St James’s Hospital. His injuries are no thought to be life threatening.
The scene is preserved for a technical examination. No arrests have been made an enquiries are ongoing.
Investigating Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the Cherry Orchard Court area at the time of the incident or may have information, to contact Ballyfermot Garda Station 01-6667200 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
