Joint DOCB & Customs Drug Seizure Croom, Co Limerick 14th October 2016

As part of an joint operation with Revenues Customs Service, Gardaí from the Drugs and Organised Bureau, assisted by Limerick Divisional Drugs Unit today seized a quantity of drugs with a street value of €200,000 at a search at a house in Croom, Co Limerick the14th October 2016.

A 37 year old man was arrested at the scene and is currently detained under Sect 2 Criminal Justice Drug trafficking Act 1996 at Henry St in Limerick.

Drugs seized included approx. 6kgs of Cannabis Herb and 1.2kgs of Cocaine (subject to analysis). Investigations are ongoing.
