Fatal road traffic collision at York Road, Dun Laoghaire, Dubblin on the 24/10/16

Gardaí at Dun Laoghaire are investigating all the circumstances of a fatal road traffic collision in which a male motorcyclist has died.

The incident occurred at York Road, Dun Laoghaire at approx. 11.45am and involved the motor cyclist, a car and a van. The man was taken to St Vincent's Hospital were he was pronounced dead. A post mortem is expected to take place. 

The road has been sealed off for forensic collision investigations. Diversions are in place.
