Gardai in Thomastown are investigating a Fatal Road Traffic collision that occured this morning at approximately 7.30a.m. at Garryduff Cross Road, Paulstown, Co. Kilkenny.
The collision involved a truck and a car and the male car driver (50 years of age) died at the scene. The truck driver was taken to St. Luke's General Hospital but his injuries are non life threatening.
The road is currently closed pending an examination of the area by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.
