Renewed Witness Appeal re Assault 13th November, 2016

Gardai in Swords wish to renew their appeal for witnesses in relation to the investigation of an assault on a woman in her 30s that occurred last Sunday morning, 13th November at approximately 6.45am on the R132 close to the Seatown Road and the Seatown Roundabout (known locally as Woodies Roundabout).

 

The woman, walking to work, was assaulted by a man wearing a grey hoodie (no better description). She received minor injuries during the incident and managed to get away from the man and was helped by a passing cyclist.

Gardai in Swords are again appealing for witnesses, they are particularly interested in speaking to a number of people who stopped and assisted the female after she was assaulted. It is believed two taxi men assisted, one man in a red/maroon four door saloon type car and the second taxi man had a fare on board. Two men who also assisted were in a recovery type vehicle with flashing red lights on the back.
