Gardai in Bray are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of what is believed to be the body of a new born baby this morning at a recycling facility in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination and the offices of the State Pathologist have been notified. The Garda Technical Bureau are due to attend the scene.

Enquiries are ongoing. No further information is available at this stage.
