Witness appeal serious assault Dublin 5th March 2016

Serious assault at Harold’s Cross

Gardaí are seeking witnesses to a serious assault at Harold’s Cross in Dublin at about 4am this morning 5th March 2016.

Shortly after 4am Gardaí and ambulance services were called to an incident outside Park View Apartments, Harold’s Cross. A 57 year old man was discovered injured in what Gardaí believe to have been an assault. The injured man is in a serious condition in St James' Hospital.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the Harold’s Cross area of Dublin between 3.30am and 4am this morning to contact them at Rathmines Garda Station on 01 666 6700.
