Witness Appeal - Cork Assault Investigation 23rd March 2016

Gardaí in Cork are appealing for witnesses following an alleged assault in Cork City on the 23rd March 2016.

At approximately 11.30am a 29-year-old female sustained facial stab wounds during an incident involving a male at Ardfallen Terrace, off Friar Street. She was taken to Cork University Hospital where she is continuing to receive treatment. (Her injuries are understood not to be life threatening.)

Investigating Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, they are particularly appealing to anybody who was in the vicinity of Ardfallen Terrace and Friar Street between 11am and 11.40am yesterday morning (23/3/2016) to contact them.
