Update - Gardai seek help to identify body of women Dublin

Gardai have identified the woman whose body was discovered on the rocks at Sandycove on the 24/03/16.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s help in trying to identify a woman, whose body was discovered on the rocks at Scotsmans Bay, Sandycove in Co. Dublin.  The woman’s body was discovered yesterday morning 24th March 2016 and post mortem results show that she had drowned. 

She is described as 50 to 60 years of age, between 5’4’’ to 5’6’’, with red hair;  wearing a purple coat, light blue fleece, a red shirt, dark purple jeans, navy socks and brown size 40 boots.  Her fingernails where painted purple.
Gardaí do not believe the body was in the water for a long period.
