<_o3a_p _rdeditor_exists="1">Gardaí at Roxboro Road are appealing for witnesses following a fatal traffic collision on Hyde Road, Limerick. The collision which involved a car and van occurred at approximately 7.30pm this evening (15/3/2016). The occupants of the car, two males aged in their 20s, were removed by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick. One of the males has since been pronounced dead. The driver of the van (male 40s) and his passenger, a 5-year-old girl, were also taken to hospital with minor injures.
The scene of the collision at Hyde Road is currently closed to traffic between Lower Carey’s Road and Lenihan Avenue and diversions are in place. Garda Forensic collision investigators have been requested to examine the scene.
