Drug seizure-€35,000 ecstasy cannabis herb & cocaine Galway City 10th March 2016

As part of a joint operation, Gardaí and Officers from Revenue Customs Services seized assorted controlled drugs with an estimated value of €35,000, pending analysis following the planned search of a premises in Galway City this afternoon, Thursday 10th March 2016 at approximately 4.30pm.

One man, 32 years, was arrested at scene and is currently detained at Gaillimh Garda Station, detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.

The drugs seized included ecstasy tablets, cannabis herb, and cocaine.
