Cannabis Herb seized (€110,000) Two men arrested - Shannon Co Clare 16/3/16

As part of an operation targeting the illegal sale and supply of controlled drugs in then Shannon area of Co Clare Gardaí have seized Cannabis Herb (pending analysis) with an estimated street value of €110,000.

A van was stopped and searched in Clonmoney West, Bunratty, Co Clare yesterday afternoon (16/3/16) at approximately 3.30pm; during the course of the search Cannabis Herb (pending analysis) was seized. Two men were arrested (37yrs & 27yrs) in connection with this incident and are currently detained at Shannon Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 – Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act  1996.
