Firearm and ammunition seized one man arrested Clondalkin 9th July 2016

Gardaí have arrested a man, 20 years, following the discovery and seizure of a firearm and ammunition during the planned search of a premises at Lealand Close, Clondalkin this afternoon, Saturday 9th July 2016 shortly before 3.30pm.

The search was carried out by members of the Clondalkin District Detective Unit.

The man was arrested at scene and is currently detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act, 1939 as amended.
